SCOUT

My
drawing portrays a Pawnee Warrior
from the area of the U.S. now known
as Iowa. The Warrior is from the period
when the Pawnee traded cloth, beads,
weapons, and assorted dry goods with
the Whites.
The
Pawnee were a powerful tribe that occupied
the grasslands, living in settled villages
during the winter and hunting Buffalo
in the summer.
